Manila, Philippines — AI agents may soon autonomously purchase and retrieve App Store Optimization (ASO) intelligence

That idea earned Sniffy the grand championship at Morph’s Build In! Payments Hackathon, where Filipino developers were challenged to build payment technologies that solve practical problems.

Sniffy enables AI agents to autonomously purchase and access ASO data, allowing ASO research to run continuously inside agentic workflows. Instead of manually checking dashboards, founders and product teams can automate product research while improving app visibility across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The competition was organized by Morph, together with Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth initiative and DvCode Technologies Inc., and featured five challenge categories: Cross-Border Remittance, SME Payments, Payroll/B2B, FX Treasury, and x402 Agentic Payments.

Other winners reflected the breadth of ideas explored during the event. Mandate402 won the x402 Agentic Payments category, while Centrus Sovereign earned the Cross-Border Remittance award. Ember received the SME Payments recognition, PayMemo won Payroll/B2B, Agent Mesh captured the Community Choice Award, and Echo secured the Blockchain4Youth Award.

Together, the projects demonstrated how developers are combining blockchain infrastructure with practical financial applications that address everyday business needs.

Participants competed for 3,500 USDC before presenting their solutions during the awarding ceremony held at YSpaces BGC in Taguig City.

The event also introduced participants to the Morph ecosystem, giving developers greater visibility into the platform’s technology and opportunities to continue building within its community.

“At Bitget, we believe the future of Web3 starts with investing in people,” said Gracy Chen, Chief Executive Officer. “Through Blockchain4Youth, our goal is to empower the next generation of builders by giving them access to learning opportunities where they can grow their skills with confidence. Supporting initiatives like the hackathon reflects our commitment to helping aspiring builders take their first steps toward building payment solutions.”

Beyond product development, the hackathon incorporated mentorship and collaborative learning sessions that encouraged builders to refine both technical and creative approaches to solving payment challenges.

Participants also heard from Eli Rabadon, CEO of DvCode Technologies Inc. and author of Programming4Youth: Code Like a Cook, who encouraged developers to embrace experimentation, adaptability, and creative problem-solving.

“The Build In! Payments Hackathon reflects Morph’s vision of nurturing a builder-first ecosystem where developers gain practical experience, exchange ideas, and grow together,” said David Hsiao, Chief Marketing Officer of Morph.

The organizers said the initiative reinforces their shared commitment to supporting a builder-first culture where collaboration and innovation remain central to Web3 development.
